Have the big plans you made at the beginning of last year come to fruition?
If not, what are you going to do differently this year?
Are you honest enough with yourself to ask why you didn’t achieve your goals?
Now is the time to get real!
There is enough content out there about goals, how to create them, the value of writing them down etc etc.
I won’t be adding to this content.
Instead, I want to share with you the difference I see between those who do achieve their goals and those that don’t.
It is true, that the vast majority of people don’t actually achieve the life they want to.
They are held back by something or someone.
If you are unhappy, have the courage to ask yourself why.
The start of the year is a great time to start a fresh.
To review what worked for you last year. What made you happy. What did you enjoy. What could you do more of.
From there you can explore areas that you are not happy with. What are you doing now that you don’t enjoy. Who in your life makes you unhappy?
Writing just these things down will give you the foundations for some goals to achieve this year.
It will also give you a sense of Why you want to achieve them. Powerful motivation to take action so that a year from now you are not feeling the same way.
Then a year from now, there will be no excuse as to why you haven’t achieved your goals.
